On MX Linux 19.4, I am giving Double Commander a serious try (no Wine, no T.C.). I haven't tried macos to copy files to ntfs volume because I guess they can corrupt windows file systemīut I have used some image software based on linux (like acronis true image, or image for linux ) to back up my operation system and they are incredible fast, they take 2 minutes to create an image and restore, the same program under windows take around 10 - 14 minutes I have no experience with macos, even i can use my bf's imac and macbook pro I guess it's windows, with antivirus turned off Almost every file manager ,or even soom tool like fastcopy and maybe extreme copy are the most fast file copyīut are just a bit faster then windows or total commander ![]()
